1. Pulau Aur - Known locally as Aur Island, lies about 65 km east of Mersing, Johor. It is part of the Johor Marine Park.
2. Pulau Dayang - Dayang Island is located next to Aur Island. Travel from Mersing Jetty to Dayang Island taked 4-5 hours journey.
3. Pulau Besar - Formerly known as Pulau Babi Besar. It is accessible by boat from Mersing town (approximately 30 minutes). To preserve the unspoiled marine life, the Government has gazetted it as a marine park to protect around 60 species of marine life from any activities that can harm their natural habitats within 2 nautical miles (3.7km) around the island.
4. Pulau Rawa - is a relatively small island. There are no proper roads, only a few walkways. It is popular with tourists from Malaysia and Singapore, who come to enjoy its relatively unspoiled white sand beaches, snorkelling and scuba diving. There is a daily ferry service from Mersing.
5. Pulau Tengah - is a privately owned island. The island was the first location for the making of the TV-show Expedition Robinson 1997. Also a great place to watch the giant leather back turtles come ashore to lay eggs yearly especially during the month of July.
6. Pulau Pemanggil - Situated next to Tioman, requires 4-5 hours ride by boat from Mersing. It is known for deep-sea fishing and good hunting ground for marlins and mackerels.
7. Pulau Sibu - Made up of several islands namely Sibu Besar Island, Sibu Tengah Island, Sibu Kukus Island and Sibu Hujung Island.
8. Pulau Tinggi - Has the highest residential population among the east coast Johor Islands, with the lates tally estimated at 448 people from three village settlements: Kampung Tanjung Balang, Kampung Pasir Panjang and Kampung Sebirah Besar.

Well, I have no exact answer why that island named like that.
What I can answer is, ignore the name. Just chase after your dreams and those happy moments, just enjoy the experience of fascinating view at there. and yeah! there is no problem if you are Muslim's, because there is no thousands of pinky "oink oink" ^_^

I as a Johorean can know about the interesting places in my own states. For your information ecah, this week I want go to Rawa Island!..
